Reading is fun, don’t be intimidated by the fact of reading books. It is very easy to start if you keep the following things in mind:
 
 
1. Choose what you want to read
 
You have to find what will hook you in a book for a longer time. Start with a book that inspires your personal interest. If you like fiction, don’t overthink just choose fiction as your first pick.
 
2. Set time and goal for reading
 
The best time to read is at night, just before you go to bed but you can set your time for the day according to your routine.
Always try to read at least 10-15 pages daily without getting disturbed while reading.
 
3. Give your brain halt from social media
 
If you struggle to put your phone down at times, give your brain some social media detox. Mobile phones increase anxiety,  insecurity in humans and also hinders your sleep at night. So, put your phone down at least an hour before you go to bed and grab your book.

You can make a difference in your child’s life with your voice. Read to your baby since birth for few minutes daily. Hearing a parent’s voice at a young age promotes hearing comfort in a child’s brain and this increases their exposure to books, better pronunciation, vocabulary, and understanding of language.
